Washington State University (WSU) has successfully raised the highest amount in donations for the Boeing Apple Cup Food Pantry Challenge for the second consecutive year. During the event, WSU collected over $12,000 through 113 contributions, outperforming the University of Washington, which raised nearly $7,000 from 87 donations.

This year, WSU expanded participation to include all of its campuses, emphasizing the statewide nature of food insecurity. According to Vaughn, this approach better aligns with the challenge’s intent, and gratitude is extended to the entire Coug community for their support.

For those who were unable to contribute during the challenge, donations to support campus pantries are still welcome.
