The Dahmen Barn is hosting a reception for an art collection titled “Rust,” created by Moscow artist Shelly Gilmore, on February 2nd from 1-3 pm.

Visitors can enjoy refreshments and music by the local group A Minor Issue while interacting with the sculptor at the barn in Uniontown.

Gilmore’s work features sculptures made from rusted and discarded scrap metal, repurposing materials that might otherwise be discarded.

Her art has been displayed in public installations at various locations, including the Neil Library in Pullman, the Moscow Library, and the 1912 Center.

The “Rust” collection will be on display at the Dahmen Barn from February 2 to March 30.
