A kitchen fire occurred early this morning at an apartment complex on Pullman’s Military Hill. Firefighters from the City of Pullman responded to the incident on NW Wayne Street at the Glendimer Three apartment complex. The fire was contained to one apartment, and fortunately, there were no injuries reported.

According to a post from the Pullman Firefighters’ Union, the first engine that arrived at the scene was staffed with three firefighters, exceeding the usual minimum of two. This additional personnel facilitated a quicker response and improved coordination during the firefighting efforts.

As of now, no further details about the fire have been released by the City of Pullman, as information is being managed by the newly appointed Public Information Officer, Meghan Ferrin.
