The community is invited to participate in a botanical walk at the Rose Creek Nature Preserve at 9:00 am on May 24, led by Walter Fertig, collections manager at the WSU Marion Ownbey Herbarium, and Erica Crespi, director of the WSU Hudson Biological Reserve.

The walk will highlight plants native to the Palouse region during their spring bloom. Participants will have the opportunity to continue their experience with a visit to the top of Smoot Hill at the Hudson Biological Reserve, guided by the organizers.
