An FBI-led task force has arrested a 32-year-old man from Tekoa on multiple charges related to the alleged sexual exploitation of minors.

William Morse was taken into custody at his residence on Howard Street in Tekoa. According to a press release from the task force, Morse faces several charges including human trafficking, child rape, and child molestation. Investigators from Spokane County report that Morse allegedly contacted young girls aged 13 to 16 by responding to babysitting advertisements on Craigslist, offering substantial payments in exchange for sexual acts.

Morse is currently being held in the Spokane County Jail with a bond set at $650,000. The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the operation leading to his arrest.
