The three finalists for the position of Latah County Second District Court Judge have been submitted to Idaho Governor Brad Little for appointment.

Judge John Judge announced his retirement effective at the end of January. The Idaho Judicial Council selected three candidates for the role: Jim Craig, Division Chief of Civil Litigation and Constitutional Defense at the Idaho Attorney General’s office in Boise; Megan Marshall, Latah County Magistrate Judge from Moscow; and Kelley Porter, Senior Judicial Staff Attorney for Nez Perce County in Genesee. The council conducted interviews with the finalists last week before sending the candidates to the governor’s office.
