Firefighters responded to a wildland fire along State Highway 3 in Southern Latah County on Sunday afternoon.

Volunteer firefighters from Kendrick and Juliaetta were dispatched to the fire near milepost 11 at approximately 3:30 PM. They were assisted by firefighters from the Idaho Department of Lands, as well as volunteer fire crews from Deary and Troy. According to the Latah County Sheriff’s Office, the fire affected a couple of acres.
