Navtaj Singh from Pullman will participate in the National Spelling Bee next week. The competition begins on Tuesday in Washington D.C. Singh has qualified for the national event each year since he became eligible in 5th grade. His highest finish was two years ago, when he tied for 12th place as a 6th grader. He is currently an 8th grader at Lincoln Middle School in Pullman.
