Fishing for spring Chinook salmon in a section of the Clearwater River Basin will cease at the end of the week.

Idaho Fish and Game has announced the closure of the Clearwater River for spring Chinook salmon fishing between the Cherrylane Bridge and Orofino, including the North Fork. This closure will take effect after fishing hours on Friday.
