Two intersections near the University of Idaho campus will be temporarily closed next week for gas line upgrades.

The closure of the Perimeter Drive and West 6th Street intersection is scheduled from July 21-25, followed by the closure of the Rayburn and West 6th Street intersection from July 24 to August 1. Traffic control measures will be implemented during the construction period.

Crews will be modifying the existing gas infrastructure to accommodate current and future needs at the university. These upgrades are part of ongoing efforts by the utility company to enhance system safety and reliability.

There will be no power outages expected during this work.
