On January 23rd, 2025, Latah County Sheriff’s Office and Moscow Police Department officers arrested three juvenile suspects following a high-speed chase that began when Coeur d’Alene Tribal Police notified the Sheriff’s Office about a vehicle linked to a pursuit in Spokane, Washington.

Deputies observed the vehicle on US Highway 95 near Potlatch, where it was traveling at speeds close to 100 miles per hour. The pursuit continued into Moscow after the suspects did not stop for law enforcement. The vehicle was later found abandoned near the southern city limits of Moscow.

Police utilized a drone to locate the suspects, who were hiding in a nearby shed. By 4:00 am, two juveniles had been taken into custody, with a third apprehended shortly thereafter. The driver faces multiple charges, including Felony Eluding, Resisting and Obstructing Officers, and Unlawful Entry.
