Inland North Waste has scheduled special leaf collection routes for residents in Moscow on Saturday, October 18, and Saturday, November 15.

To participate, residents are required to contact Inland North Waste by calling 208-882-5724 or emailing [email protected] during the week prior to each collection day to ensure they are included in the collection route.

Residents should place their leaves curbside in biodegradable paper bags or open-top containers, following the same schedule and location as regular trash collection. It is important to note that tied plastic bags will not be collected and will instead be treated as regular trash.

The collection service is designed to accept leaves, grass clippings, squash vines, corn stalks, and various types of non-woody vegetation. However, it does not include branches, rose bush trimmings, raspberry canes, stumps, or other woody materials. Those items can be dropped off at no cost at the 24-hour Yard Waste site located at Moscow Recycling or the Solid Waste Processing Facility off Highway 8.
