The Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction has designated Kamiak Elementary School in Pullman as a State ESEA Distinguished School, awarding the institution $15,000 for notable student performance and academic growth.

This recognition is part of the National Association of ESEA State Program Administrators’ initiative, which acknowledges schools for their academic achievements and the contributions of their students.

Kamiak Elementary is one of two schools in Washington selected for this state recognition.
