The League of Women Voters of Pullman and Whitman County will organize three candidate forums prior to the general election on November 4. These forums will be hosted at Neill Public Library in Pullman from 5:30 to 7:00 pm and will also be accessible via Zoom, with recordings made available afterward.

The first forum will focus on the Whitman County Commissioner District 3 candidates, Cody Finch and Chad Whetzel, and will take place on Thursday, October 9.

The second forum is set for Tuesday, October 14, and will include candidates for the Pullman School Board. In District 4, candidates Deena Bayoumi and Hannah Martian will participate, while District 5 candidates Brandon Kruger and Stephanie A Horn will also be present.

The final forum will be on Thursday, October 16, for the Pullman City Council. Candidates for Ward 1 are John-Mark Mahnkey and Bryan MacDonald; Ward 2 candidates include DiDi Lubash and Trevor Vance; and Ward 3 candidates are John Casselman and Tawny Szumlas. It is important to note that voters are eligible to vote only for candidates within their own ward.
