Local home prices in Washington have reached their lowest level for the year, according to the Whitman County Association of Realtors’ July housing report. In July, the average price for a home sold in Whitman County was approximately $375,000. This figure represents a decrease of $12,000 from June but an increase of $25,000 compared to the same period last year.
In July, there were 52 homes available for sale, marking the highest inventory since June 2024. Homes remained on the market for an average of two months in July, which is an increase of about one month compared to June. Last August, Whitman County recorded its peak average home price at nearly $464,000.
