City of Pullman staff are informing residents about a recent change to the water system that may lead to discolored water in some areas. A new flow meter has been installed on Booster Well 8, which may affect water quality for homes located in the Terre View/Military Hill area.

While discolored water may be visually concerning, it is deemed safe for consumption and use. Residents experiencing discoloration are advised to run cold water taps in bathtubs and sinks to help clear their plumbing systems.
