Firefighters managed to contain a small wildfire during the weekend in the mountains of Eastern Latah County.

The Pebble Fire was detected on Saturday afternoon at approximately 3:30 PM, close to the Little Boulder Campground, situated south of Helmer. The fire was ultimately contained within an area of about two acres.
