The Idaho Transportation Department has announced plans to repave Washington Street in downtown Moscow this summer, starting on Monday. The project involves the repaving of Northbound U.S. Highway 95/Washington Street, extending from State Highway 8 to Rodeo Drive. Work will primarily take place overnight, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, although at least one lane of one-way Washington Street will remain accessible during these hours. During the daytime, most lanes will be open to traffic. Additionally, a brief section of US95 Southbound/Jackson Street near the junction with SH8 will also be repaved, along with a small portion of SH8 just east of this junction. The total cost for the repaving project is estimated at 3 million dollars, with completion expected by late August.
