Community members in the Palouse region are invited to gather at Cougar Plaza in Pullman for the No Kings rally on Saturday, October 18, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. This event aims to address concerns regarding governance and political accountability.
Participants are encouraged to bring signs, banners, U.S. flags, and their commitment to advocating for change.
The rally is part of the national “No Kings” movement and is organized by the Whitman County Democrats in partnership with Indivisible Palouse and Pullman’s Intersectional Advocacy Coalition.
Cece Cook, a member of Indivisible Palouse, stated, “We are joining forces with the Intersectional Advocacy Coalition, Whitman County Democrats, and other social justice organizations to advocate for accountability in governance. We aim to gather in numbers to express our views on political issues and seek reform.”
A simultaneous “No Kings” rally will also take place at Ghormley Park in Moscow.
