The Palouse Conservation District is seeking volunteers for the Confluence Crew, a program focused on monitoring water quality in streams and rivers within the Palouse River Watershed.

Participants are asked to visit a designated stream site once a month to gather data that contributes to understanding water quality across approximately 20 monitoring locations on both public and private lands. No previous experience is required, as training and equipment will be supplied.

Training sessions for volunteers are scheduled for Saturday, September 27, and Saturday, October 4, in Pullman.

Additionally, the PCD will host its Annual Gathering on Thursday, October 2, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Neill’s Coffee & Ice Cream in Pullman, featuring a presentation of volunteer data findings by Research & Monitoring Manager Ryan Boylan.
