Palouse Habitat for Humanity is seeking to fill the position of full-time Development Director. This role will focus on fundraising and enhancing donor engagement to secure financial support for affordable housing initiatives in the region.

Executive Director Jennifer Wallace noted the organization’s growth over the past 20 years from a volunteer-driven group to a staff-supported entity capable of addressing community housing demands. She emphasized the importance of this role, stating that the organization has a strong foundation of community support through individual contributions and events like Beans ‘n’ Jeans. However, there is a need for a director with the necessary expertise to further enhance fundraising efforts to meet housing goals.

The Development Director will be responsible for creating and executing strategies aimed at supporting Habitat’s objective of constructing 3-4 homes annually in the Palouse area, along with expanding the Home Repair program.
