The Palouse Land Trust is organizing an Autumn Equinox Walk on Monday, September 22, from 5:30 – 6:30 pm at Idler’s Rest Nature Preserve in Moscow. This event is designed to acknowledge the seasonal transition and is open to families.

The walk will provide insights into the history of the preserve, as well as information about the local plants, trees, and wildlife found in Idler’s Rest.

Participants may have the chance to taste seasonal offerings from the historic orchard.

The event encourages community members to engage with nature while learning about the preserve, which is located at 1187 Idlers Rest Road.

Dogs are permitted to accompany their owners during the event. Donations are appreciated to assist in the maintenance and care of the nature preserve.
