The Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute is organizing a scrap metal collection event on Saturday, October 25, and Sunday, October 26, at the Palouse Nature Center in Moscow to mark World Sustainability Day.

During this event, Sutton Salvage will provide a container for community members to dispose of unwanted scrap metal. Acceptable items include aluminum, brass, tin, copper, stainless steel, appliances, electric motors, auto parts, and radiators.

Sutton Salvage is not charging a processing fee for the metal collected, and the proceeds from the donated metal will go to the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute. A full list of accepted items can be found at suttonsalvage.com.
