The U.S. Forest Service is conducting a prescribed burn in North Latah County on Tuesday. The burn is located a few miles north of Laird Park in the Greenhorn Timber Sale area. Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest officials have indicated that smoke may be present in the area for the next few days due to this activity.
