The Pullman Chamber and Visitor Center has appointed Joseph “JJ” Martin as its new Tourism Promotions Manager, starting October 29. Martin, who has lived in Pullman for a long time, has a background in brand marketing, community development, and event management, having held positions at Washington State University, the University of Idaho, and the New York City Parks & Recreation.

Pullman Chamber Executive Director Pete Chittenden stated that Martin’s knowledge of the community and his energy could contribute positively to Pullman’s aspirations as a tourism destination in Washington State.
