The Pullman High School science bowl team is heading to Washington D.C. to participate in the national competition. The team qualified for this event by winning the Inland Northwest Regional Science Bowl, where they competed against eleven other teams. The National Science Bowl takes place from Thursday to Monday, featuring over 10,000 students from 64 high schools across the country. The winning team will receive $5,000 for their schools’ math and science departments. This year’s participants from PHS include Sahil Ganjyal, Jack Carper, Leon Liu, Kevin Chi, and Nathan Kostenko.
