A traffic incident occurred Monday afternoon in Garfield County involving multiple vehicles. According to reports from the Washington State Patrol, the crash took place around 1:00 PM on U.S. Highway 12 at the intersection with State Route 127, west of Pomeroy.

A 79-year-old man from Ferndale was driving a Corvette westbound on U.S. Highway 12 when he did not yield to a pickup truck traveling north on State Route 127. As a result of the collision, both occupants of the Corvette sustained injuries and were transported to hospitals in Lewiston and the Tri-Cities. The driver of the pickup truck, 44-year-old Levi Walker from Pullman, was not injured in the crash.
