Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport officials are informing the public that starting May 7th, the federal government will fully enforce the REAL ID requirements for air travel. The TSA will implement the 2005 REAL ID Act, which means that after this date, state-issued identifications that do not meet REAL ID standards will no longer be accepted. Airline passengers aged 18 and older must present either a REAL ID compliant identification or an alternative acceptable ID, such as a passport, at airport security. Passengers without REAL ID or acceptable alternatives on May 7th may face delays, additional screening, and the possibility of being denied access to airport gates.
