Moscow experienced a series of car burglaries on Tuesday afternoon, with reports of incidents occurring at two locations. The Moscow Police received five reports of vehicles being broken into, starting around 6:00 PM. Several cars parked at the University of Idaho Arboretum in Southwest Moscow were targeted, along with additional vehicles at the Joseph Street Ballfields on Mountain View Road in Northeast Moscow. Items such as purses and wallets were reported stolen, and the burglaries involved the smashing of windows, indicating a swift “smash and grab” method. The police suspect that these incidents are connected and took place between 5:00 and 6:30 PM on Tuesday. Authorities are requesting that anyone with information or who observed any suspicious activity during that time reach out to the Moscow Police Department.
