The University of Idaho is set to host the third annual Power Of Possibility Talks on Thursday, October 23, at 3:30 pm in the Bruce M. Pitman Center International Ballroom. This event will feature eight faculty members delivering four-minute presentations about their research.

The event is free to attend and will also be livestreamed on U of I Live. Topics covered will include artificial intelligence, metaphors, water research, animal migration, medical education gaming, tribal law, and the cattle industry in Idaho.

Audience members will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite presentation, with the top presenter receiving a $2,500 grant. Additionally, undergraduates attending in person will be eligible to win one of two $1,000 scholarships.

Christopher Nomura, vice president for research and economic development, stated that the POP Talks aim to highlight the diverse range of ideas and discoveries at the University of Idaho. The format allows attendees to quickly engage with various research topics and understand how these researchers are addressing challenges and exploring new possibilities.
