Save Our Schools Idaho is organizing a town hall discussion on Wednesday, September 24, at 6:30 pm at the 1912 Center in Moscow. The event will address Idaho’s $50 million private school tuition funding program, which has recently been approved.

The discussion will explore concerns related to potential expansions of this funding program, with some lawmakers advocating for an increase to $339 million annually, which could amount to over $3 billion in taxpayer funds over the next decade.

The event will be moderated by Alexis Morgan, the Director of Public Policy for the Idaho PTA. Panelists include Cyndi Faircloth, a teacher at Moscow Middle School; Leslie Baker, Chair of the Moscow Charter School Board; and Teresa Fabricius, the former Superintendent of the Fruitland School District and a board member of Save Our Schools Idaho.

Attendees are encouraged to submit questions for the panelists either in advance or during the event. The town hall is free to attend and open to the public, although RSVPs are requested. More information on how to reserve a spot can be found on the event page.
