A smoke column was observed in the Moscow-Pullman area from the North on Wednesday afternoon, originating from a wildfire in Southern Spokane County.

The Siegel Fire ignited along Bonnie Lake around 3:00 p.m. and has affected approximately 450 acres in Spokane County Fire District 3. As of now, no structures have been reported as lost. The fire has received state mobilization, resulting in the deployment of firefighters from various regions in Washington to assist in combating the flames.
