The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office has identified a man suspected of involvement in a regional crime spree as the individual connected to a burglary attempt at the Uniontown cash machine last month.
The suspect, 42-year-old Eric B. Wright, has been residing in Longview, Washington. Authorities reported that a distinctive customized black Dodge Challenger, identified as the vehicle used in the Uniontown incident, was found at Wright’s residence. This vehicle was reported stolen from Montana. Additionally, deputies discovered another stolen vehicle and a trailer that had been reported stolen from Garfield last year.
Wright faces charges from Latah County related to an unrelated property crime, and the U.S. Department of Justice has issued federal charges against him for the ongoing regional crime spree that began early last year. A warrant for Wright’s arrest has been issued by the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office.
