Three educators from the local area are being recognized as Vandal Outstanding Educators by the University of Idaho (UI).

The UI’s College of Education, Health and Human Sciences has announced the award winners for 2025. The recipients are nominated by UI students from across the state.

The local award winners include Rebecca Sager from the Moscow School District, Doug Richards, a former music teacher from Potlatch and currently a principal, and Jeanette Humphreys, a teacher in the VandalQuest Program in Moscow. These individuals will be acknowledged during a halftime ceremony at the Vandal home football game scheduled for this Saturday.
