The Palouse Discovery Science Center is hosting a free Family Science night on Thursday, May 1. The theme for this month is “Grow Your Green,” which combines science exploration with financial literacy activities suitable for all ages.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the science center, enjoy giveaways, and engage in various activities, including:

– ICCU Cash Wind Tunnel: Children under 18 can enter a wind tunnel filled with cash and keep what they catch when they open a new ICCU account.
– Crypto & Blockchain Basics: Participants can learn about cryptocurrency and blockchain through an interactive activity.
– Berry Planting Station: Families can take home a raspberry or blackberry plant while learning how small investments can yield positive results over time.

The event is open to everyone and will take place in Pullman from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
