Traffic delays are expected on State Route 26 near Washtucna for several weeks beginning Thursday. The Washington State Department of Transportation is conducting resurfacing work on the concrete deck of the bridge located just east of Washtucna. During this time, traffic will be limited to one lane over the bridge, with direction provided by temporary traffic lights and flaggers. The scheduled work and associated traffic delays are anticipated to continue into early August.
