The Washington State Department of Transportation has announced that the repaving of U.S. Highway 195 near Pullman will primarily occur at night, minimizing daytime traffic delays. Nighttime work is set to begin on Monday, August 11th, starting at 6:00 p.m. and continuing until 6:00 a.m. the following morning. This schedule will continue from Monday to Friday until late September. During this time, one lane of traffic will be directed through the work zone, and motorists are advised to expect delays of up to 15 minutes. Additionally, there will be occasional daytime traffic delays for guardrail work starting today. The repaving project will cover nine miles of U.S. Highway 195, extending from State Route 27 at the southern end of Pullman to Babbitt Road.
