The Asotin County Library and Moscow Public Library will host author Gregg Olsen and Shasta Groene, who is the subject of his new book, “Out of the Woods: A Girl, a Killer, and a Lifelong Struggle to Find the Way Home.”

The book explores the events surrounding the Groene family murders in Idaho in 2005, including the abduction of Shasta and her brother, as well as Shasta’s journey of survival.

The event at the Moscow Public Library is set for Saturday, August 9, at noon, while the program at the Asotin County Library will take place at 6:00 pm on the same day.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Shasta Groene and Gregg Olsen, and there will be a book signing following the discussions. The event is free and open to the public.
