Two interim deans at Washington State University have received permanent appointments.

Courtney Meehan, who served as the Interim Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, and Trevor Bond, Interim Dean of Libraries, will continue in their roles permanently.

Meehan was appointed as interim dean last year following Todd Butler’s departure to San Diego State University. She has been a member of the WSU faculty since 2007.

Bond stepped into the interim dean role last year after Jay Staratt, the previous dean, left due to health issues. Bond has been affiliated with WSU for over 20 years.

The WSU Provost’s Office announced these promotions on Thursday.
