The University of Idaho is marking the 50th anniversary of the P1FCU Kibbie Dome’s dedication with a year-long series of events. The dome, which had its final arch placed on June 11, 1975, after eight months of construction, has been an integral part of the university’s campus and a venue for various events, including college football games, championships, concerts, and the Lionel Hampton International Jazz Festival.

Throughout the year, the university will host a variety of activities, share memories, and offer special features and merchandise. A key event will take place during the weekend of the football game against Utah Tech on September 13. Details regarding the full schedule of celebrations will be provided in due course.
