The University of Idaho Dance Program will host the ninth annual Idaho Dance Education Organization conference titled “Creativity in Motion” on September 26 and 27 in Moscow. This conference invites dancers, students, and educators from the Northwest to participate.

The event includes workshops led by keynote presenter George Staib, a dance educator and artistic director of Staibdance, along with sessions conducted by regional dance instructors aimed at high school and college dancers and professional development.

Two public performances are scheduled at 7:00 PM at the Hartung Theater: “Celebration of Dance” on Friday, which will highlight the work of conference attendees, and “Echoes & Earth” on Saturday, featuring performances by Push/Fold from Portland alongside U of I dance students.

Tickets for the performances are priced at $5 for Friday and $10-$20 for Saturday, available for purchase online or at the venue.

Conference registration costs $75 for a single day or $85 for both days, with discounts available for students. Registration includes access to workshops, evening performances, and lunch on Saturday.
