The Washington State Patrol is set to conduct emphasis patrols from August 6 to 10 in anticipation of the return of WSU students to Pullman for the upcoming semester. During this period, patrols in Whitman, Adams, Grant, and Kittitas counties will focus on various driving behaviors, including speeding, distracted driving, impaired driving, and other traffic violations.
Motorists can expect to see a heightened presence of WSP officers on State Routes 26 and 195, as well as on Interstate 90 over Snoqualmie Pass.
