A 28-year-old woman has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge related to drug possession in Latah County Second District Court. Cyra Cunningham entered her plea on Tuesday, resulting in the dismissal of a felony charge of narcotics delivery. She received a sentence of 16 days in jail, with credit given for time already served.

Cunningham was arrested alongside 31-year-old Shaun Claypool by Moscow Police last month while they were found sleeping in a vehicle. Officers responded to a call to check on the pair and reportedly discovered fentanyl pills, methamphetamine, a scale, and cash inside the car.

The case against Claypool, who faces a pending felony charge for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, is still ongoing. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court next week.
