Whitman County Library and Washington State University Entomology Department are conducting a workshop focused on pollinator protection on Saturday, November 1, at 12:30 pm at The Center in Colfax. The workshop will feature Dr. Priya Basu, an entomologist from WSU.

The session will include discussions on honey bees and native bees in Whitman County, methods to attract and protect pollinators, and strategies to enhance pollinator health in home gardens.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in activities such as honey tasting and observing live hives.
