Washington State University Athletics has announced several new fan experiences for the upcoming football season.
The WSU Kickoff at the CUB pregame party is set to open three hours before each game, taking place in the CUB Senior Ballroom. This location replaces the traditional Hollingberry Fieldhouse, which will now host private events for corporate sponsors.
Cougville will also return this season, providing pregame festivities on Rogers Field starting two hours before kickoff and reopening during halftime. Entry to Cougville requires fans to present their game tickets.
Additionally, the Cougar Prowl will now follow a new route, with the WSU football team heading to Gesa Field inside Martin Stadium two hours and 40 minutes before kickoff. The new path will take them from the Taylor Sports Complex through the RV1 parking lot and past the Cougar Pride Statue.
A new event for this year is the Cougar Collective Friday happy hour and social, hosted by a group focused on raising funds to support student athletes for name, image, and likeness opportunities. This happy hour will take place from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Fridays before home games, with the first two events scheduled at the WSU Baseball Complex.
The Cougar football team will open the season at home on Saturday night against the Idaho Vandals in the Battle of the Palouse.
