A Washington State University student has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred inside a dormitory on campus.
WSU Police responded to a call at Orton Hall early Monday morning around 1:30 AM. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 20-year-old man with a knife wound to his arm. Authorities identified the suspect as 20-year-old Tatiana Martinez, who was located and arrested at the scene on charges of felony 2nd degree assault. The knife believed to be used in the incident was also recovered by police.
The victim, who is from Shoreline, Washington, was transported to Pullman Regional Hospital but declined treatment and was subsequently released. The Pullman Police Department collaborated with WSU Police during the response to the incident.
