A 24-year-old Washington State University student is on trial this week in Whitman County Superior Court, facing charges of two counts of third-degree rape. The charges are related to an incident that allegedly occurred in November 2023, after Andrade met the woman at a fraternity party at WSU. According to reports, the woman indicated that they went to Andrade’s apartment to watch a movie, where the alleged incident took place while she was incapacitated. Following the incident, the woman sought help from a neighboring apartment and contacted the Pullman Police.

Jury selection took place on Monday in Colfax, and the trial is anticipated to continue throughout the week. Andrade is still listed as a student on the WSU website.
