The Washington State University Student American Veterinary Medical Association is hosting the annual 5K Rabies Run on Saturday, October 18, at 10:00 am in front of Bustad Hall on the WSU campus in Pullman.

This event features a 1-mile loop where participants will navigate through a zombie-themed course. Registration costs $25, which includes a commemorative T-shirt, and closed on September 29. Standard registration is available for $20 until race day. Please note that pets are not permitted at the event.

At the conclusion of the race, there will be a prize drawing, and runners can earn tickets for participating, wearing costumes, and successfully keeping their flags during the run.

All proceeds from the event will support the WSU Rabies Free Africa campaign, which provides vaccinations for approximately 300 dogs each day in East Africa.
